Between 2021 and 2022, Core Switchboards was contracted to supply ten custom-built mechanical services switchboards (MSSBs) for the Massey University Innovation Complex in Auckland. Spanning 9800 square metres, the state-of-the-art facility is designed to support leading-edge research and connect science innovation with local industry. Our role was to ensure the mechanical infrastructure had the power it needed to perform, reliably and efficiently.

Precision Switchboards for Complex Demands

We built ten MSSBs ranging from 100A to 400A, each tailored to meet the complex electrical loads of a high-performance environment. These switchboards were manufactured to stringent quality standards, integrating seamlessly with the building’s broader electrical and control panel systems. This project exemplified our capability in both electrical switchboard manufacturing and integrated control panel solutions for technically advanced facilities.

Delivery in Under 5 Months

With just 4.5 months to deliver, timing was crucial. Our streamlined production and commissioning process ensured all switchboards were delivered on schedule, contributing to the overall progress of this high-profile development.
